Health Professions for the Future

The Health Professions for the Future (HPF) program is designed to familiarize high school students with the various professions in health care. Students participate in either the six-week summer internship or the year-round internship, providing an exceptional opportunity for students to acquire an understanding of how lessons learned in the classroom apply to the professional work environment. Student interns are matched with clinicians and specialists from specific health disciplines who serve as mentors. Under their supervision, students observe and take part in aspects of patient care.
