Now Open, Mercy Family Health Center at Oakwood Shores


Chicago, IL:  Mercy Hospital is happy to announce the opening of our newest satellite facility, Mercy Family Health Center at Oakwood Shores, located at 3753 South Cottage Grove Avenue. Mercy Family Health Center at Oakwood Shores occupies 14,000 square feet on the first floor of the building.


The new family health center relocates primary care services, pediatrics and Obstetrics/Gynecology from the hospital to Oakwood Shores.  New services that are available at Oakwood Shores include: Digital Mammography, Diabetes Care, Patient Relations, X-ray and laboratory services, Maternal Child Health and a retail pharmacy. Specialty care will remain at the hospital.

On Friday, July 26th, city officials, community leaders, members from administration at Mercy and building tenants attended a special ribbon cutting ceremony for the Grand Opening of the Oakwood Shores Development.


Join us for a special Open House Celebration and Pharmacy Grand Opening on Thursday, October 10th, 2013 from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Tour our facility, meet with staff, and obtain tools and information to help you Live Well! Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about County Care at Mercy and the new Health Insurance Exchanges.
